Reorder PDF pages before you merge

Filenames do not decide page order. In LocalPdfMerge’s merge list, each file is a block of pages. Moving a file up or down changes where its pages land in the final PDF.

Example

Report A (2 pages) above appendix B (1 page) yields A1, A2, B1. Move B above A and the expected order becomes B1, A1, A2. Open the saved file and check content, not only page count.

Steps

  1. Add PDFs on the Merge tab.
  2. Use ↑ / ↓ on each row until the list matches the sequence you want.
  3. Merge again after reordering — an older download link may still reflect a previous order.

Note

v1 reorders files in the merge list. Per-page drag reorder inside a single PDF is not required for the MVP; extract ranges and re-merge if you need a custom page sequence from one file.
